Office Manager, Box Office Manager, and Staff Liaison to the Castleton Festival Board of Directors at Castleton Festival
January 2011 - PresentEntrusted with an ever-changing task list of high-priority detail-oriented responsibilities to prepare for the Festival Season (e.g. drafting, issuing, and tracking Artistic and Faculty contracts and preparing the associated payment schedule). Handled and tracked hundreds and thousands of dollars' worth of donations and tuition payments each year. Instrumental in organizing large fundraising gala events with guest lists of over 180 people, the most recent of which raised approximately $120,000. Maintained and updated superior's complex calendars of international engagements for up to 3 years in the future. Acted as the primary point of contact for the organization, requiring up-to-date and accurate knowledge of company policies, employees, performances, workflow, and organizational structure. Served as Company Management during a tour of our production of La Boheme in the Sultanate of Oman during which management of logistics and supervision of the Children's Chorus was key. Led all Box Office operations for three of the most successful seasons of the Castleton Festival starting in 2012 - most recently during the 2014 Season in which the organization grossed over $360,000 in sales (up 38% from the previous season). Oversaw multiple subordinates and provided a structured internship program, on-the-job training, and reviews. Developed important relationships in the local community customer base while maintaining a high level of customer service. Entrusted with highly sensitive payment information, implementing best practices and data security standards. Responsible for understanding and capitalizing on the capabilities of our database and ticketing system. Developed and maintained systems for tracking sales and goals with the aim of effectively communicating these findings to colleagues and the Board. Responsible for issuing appropriate notices and meeting reminders as well as all documents and Board Meeting materials.
